We'll essentially build the entire car twice; an "initial" assembly during fabrication, then we'll disassemble it, paint it and do a "final" assembly.  This is the beginning of the "initial assembly/fabrication" phase.  We have lots of fabrication to do before "final assembly"......

Our first objective was to assemble the suspension system in order to verify fit and overall alignment.  Lothringer Engineering did an initial setup for us; we wanted to verify the setup and make a record of the all the various adjustments so that we could repeat them after disassembly for painting.  Additionally, we need the trailing/control arms installed so that we can determine the correct shock specifications (overall length, length of stroke, etc.).  We'll fabricate and install temporary struts to take the place of shocks to get the chassis into a "roller" condition initially.
